Rehydrating
Sourdough Starter
Supplies Needed:
​
Package of Sourdough Starter
filtered, chlorine free water
Glass jar with lid
Kitchen scale - HIGHLY recommended
​
Directions:​
​
Add your dehydrated starter to the glass jar and place on the scale.
​
Tare the scale to zero.
​
Add 10 g of water to the jar.
​
Stir gently.
​
Cover loosely with jar lid.
​
Allow to sit on warm counter top for a few hours.
​
From here you can begin to feed your starter to build and activate. Once active you are ready to bake with your starter.
