We woke up to a fresh blanket of new snow. Yep, that’s springtime in Montana! Snow days are normal, anticipated and always annoying!
Addi made me dig out a pair of snow gloves and a hat. Yes, I had already optimistically put that bucket away. I stood in the doorway in my jammies and took pictures of her shoveling snow onto her head!
Even in April after you play in the snow you need a cup of hot chocolate. Elmo was as excited about it as I was.
Me: Addi, how was your hot chocolate?
Addi: Warm, chocolaty, and delicious.
Me: Well, it did the job then!
In other, non-snow related morning news — Addi had an impromptu dance party after putting new batteries in her music player. She is single-handily attempting to bring back the 80’s style side-pony! She totally rocks it.
Addi made juice popsicles in a tank-top, too ironic for me with the new snow in the background.
Landon attempted to fix his pony. A minor surgery with unpleasant results, we did not have the right batteries. Last night after getting his own jammies on, he went into Addi’s drawers and put on a pair of her jammies. He sister is just too cool, he wants to be just like her – pink princess pjs and all!
Landon figured today he was big enough to drink the milk out of his cereal bowl. With only some minor chin dribbles.
Addi worked out her arm muscles making pie crust for a fresh strawberry pie for tonight’s dinner with friends.
Happy Monday Morning to you!
